Thanks For Looking In

Primary 2 were recently visited by PC Chalmers from Central Scotland Police.

He brought along his patrol car and equipment that he uses.

PC Chalmers told us all about the job that he does. He explained about all the different ways that he helps.

P2 would like to thank PC Chalmers for his expertise and for sharing all the things that he does as a Police Officer. 

Primary 2 were visited by an ambulance crew from Linlithgow who came to tell us all about what they do in their job.

We all got to see inside the ambulance and even got to try some of the equipment that they use in emergencies.

We all learned so much from the visit. Some of us would like to be  paramedics and help people in need.

Thank you to the crew from Linlithgow. You were fab.

The Fire Crew from Bo’ness Fire Station recently visited Primary 2 to help us with our topic work.

Our topic this term is People Who Help Us.

Fire Fighters were the first people we looked at. They showed us all of their equipment and explained what it was used for.

Everyone got a shot of the hose. It was very powerful.

 We all enjoyed the visit and many would even like to be fire fighters when they are older.

Primary 2 and the rest of Grange Primary  have been busy all week with events to raise awareness and cash for Sports Relief.
